Lots on the bench

These will be the last in progress pics of this guy, I promise.  The next and final ones will be of him finished.  I guess that would make them final.  That makes sense.
Still have to finish the base and his sword, then it's a matter of some gloss and the final metallic drybrushing.
In the movie his coat looks strange in a way, it appears like I should paint the raised areas you see on his jacket with a gloss.  Perhaps  I'll do that before I dullcoat him for the last time, so it's not too stark.
I just did a search online to see if I could find an example, and I think I need a lot more shading around his eyes, and maybe even to darken his lips.  I'll convert the pictures to black and white out of curiosity and see if I'm close.
I'm not picky or anything, really. =P

What better way to countdown the days to Halloween than with some Devil *itches?

This one is going to be fun.  Have the wig for her, and I'm looking forward to taking the head with me while I go shopping for nightgowns.
"Excuse me, do you carry this in possessed size?"

Another one of Coop's Devil girls.  Sculpted by Barsom.  I miss having him around on the scene, his work was, and is, always delightful.
I decided on some electrical tape, since who wants this sort of thing in their face when they're innocently looking at my blog at work?  Don't answer that.
On the one I did previously, I never did get the tail tucked between her mam's to look right.  Maybe I'll just have it one piece... if the owner does not mind...

This bad-ass two fott tall Kong is going to have to get a quicky paint job, since he needs to be done for a show next weekend.  Looks like he could use some denture glue as well.
But it's just dark gray/black skin and some brown-ish fur.  Not complicated at all...

And by contrast this little guy, who I'll be painting as "Darth Yoda".  That would have been a short series, indeed, if Yoda went to the dark side.  It would be hard to take him serioulsy, all talking backwards and what not.  But by the time you were half-way thorugh your "Awwwwww" he would turn you inside out with a glance.  Then someone might mistake you for some ruhbarb crisp, and.... well you get the picture.

I think all your ideas concerning MWL will add to it even more...which is saying a lot because it's already the best interpretation of the kit I've seen. The overall palette is just killer; the contrasts in the base alone are dazzling.

Guess I'm going to have to box up my last Kuntz kit for shipping, make it a trifecta.
