Well after taking some pictures of Gwynplaine, and deciding his jacket was looking like crap on a crap cracker, I did some more work on it.  I was going to post the picturesside by side, but there is little difference.  They really need to improve digital cameras and monitors... I used to think 16 million colors was crazy, but I was wrong.
But here is is so far, looking a little better.  I outlined the raised gold areas with a darker red, and it helped to make things pop and sharpen up the detail.  Will need to go back and drybrush the gold some more.  His lower half and legs are done, and I"m almost done with the base.  So as soon as I can stop obsesssing over this thing maybe I can get it completed!  I can't help it though, I really want this to turn out nice.



Here is the third of the road-kill critters I finished up for a friend's birthday.  She's been run over a few times herself this year, so I hope this next one is better...



And lastly a kit called Sex on the Beach.  Just a quicky paint job.  Don't really go for the tall blonde types myself, but any excuse to practice those tricky flesh tones.
