Somewhat long overdue pics of this kit. Except for some pinholes on his legs, the kit is primed and ready to paint. Got hit with another assignment for Amazing Figure Modeler, which was unexpected since the last issue just came out. But I suppose Halloween is just around the corner.
This kit needed a lot of attention. You forget sometimes how good you have it with the way kits are so expertly cast these days.
Pour stub:
This area was ground down completley smooth, tried to add some detail like the rest of the coat
Hey, lets have the mold line run right along this delicate detail!
Re-attached the corner of the vest. Will have to be careful when attaching the legs. Should prolly heat it up when I do that...

So cool to see the build on this kit - one of my all time favourites for sure.

Shows how utterly I "trust in Thad." I had no idea how beat up this poor kit was. I just shipped it to you. I honestly don't remember the pour stub on the wig. All I remember is the busted waistcoat. Mebbe I was transfixed by Kuntz' sculpt of the face.
Thad, I'm jazzed he's come to the front of the workbench. Gonna be a classic. Are you going to share pictures of your own as well? Are you doing them together?
Probably only will have time for yours, Daryl. Wouldn't seem right painting anything else when I've got things to work on for other people. I'm thinking reddish-brown jacket, gold vest, brown pants and off-white leggings? And a nice deep red for the cuffs and sides of the jacket with perhaps metalic gold on the details. Damn, now I want mine that color, lol! Maybe throw in some blue or green...
