After hearing and reading that many times over, I embarrassingly concede.
Ever since Halloween things have been nuts, but no series of events can excuse me from writing a sentence or two letting everyone know what's the word.  I guess the word today is apologies.

No surprise, the Iowa winter has been a bitch.  We've been hit with a ton of snow, ice, and sub-zero temperatures.  Battling this weather has taken more than a few weekends from me.  Ice storms caused not only some power outages (it gets really cold in here at night with no power) but left a mess as well.


Another thing keeping me from work, is work.  There are lots of new things going on with my job, causing me to spend a lot of extra time there.  So much so that when I would get home, I avoided my computer like a vampire does sunlight.  Sad considering after working up text and graphics all day and night I would have or want to spend the time to stick a sentence together and put up a picture.

As for painting, I haven't had a lot of time (work...grrrrr) but I have finished a few things.  I just can't show them.
About the same time the overtime kicked in at work I also had an article due for AFM.  For a fortnight I was surviving off barley any sleep trying to get everything finished on time. I've also since then finished another project that may make an appearance in a future issue, so those pictures have to wait as well.
