Here's a great sculpt by Gabe Perna.  It's from the Rankin/Bass production of the Hobbit for TV. I always forget about this one when going over their various stop motion holiday shows.
Lots of sharp detail and a well thought out (pieced) kit.

I have the daunting task of adding to the line of kits from the "Super-Group" of modelers that put together a set of these.  I think at the moment it was Danno, Rick, and someone else.  Escuse me fellas, it's late!   I was given their pictures as reference, and I took lots of pictures of Steve Riojas' that he had at Wonderfest.

Man, how much fun is this going to be to paint!

At First I wasn't sure there was a package of pins included with the kits.  I then reailized what they did, that it would be impossible to cast that crown without loosing a ball or two.  Throwing those in there was a nice touch of class.
