Back From Wonderfest
As it is every year, it was a blast. Great to see all my friends, but depressing that I only get to see them once a year. I'll get some pictures of the show up soon, on my crappy needs an overhaul website.
Went back and reworked some of the fleshtones on these two fellas. (Will have to fix up the hair and details again from the overspray). Sometimes when I look at the pictures, or block in the hair, I notice something that looks off. Sometimes someone makes a good suggestion about something I miss, which is why I put pictures up here, and appreciate it.
These pictures might seem dark, I have a new flatscreen, and everything looks a ton brighter on it. I drag photos over to a crt I have set up as a second, and try to reach a happy medium with the contrast. Overall, I think they're looking better.

And speaking of re-working, I have to strip the paint off of this other Han bust.
Don't make fun of the butterfly non-stick things in the tub, they were there when I moved in.
(And keep me from craking my skull)

I sprayed the hell out of it with the power disolver, and then scrubbed it with a tooth brush after letting it sit for a few hours. I then filled up the tub with water to let it soak overnight.

And again, no comments on the above picture! LOL!
I chose the Power Disolver since the eyes were fixed in the bust, I didn't want to use anything that would scratch them up (like oven cleaner). So when I saw this I was a little saddened at first. Thought I was going to have to break and replace them. But it was just some film, glue from the eyes or lashes that glazed over them.
Creepy though!

I was able to scrape it off and they were clean and good as new.
That's it for now!
