A little more work and Maximus is finished.
I think I'm going to try a poll, and see how I should lay this thing out.
Individual posts like this, and I have it set so anyone subscribed does not get an email for every comment.
Or, set up an entry, like Maximus for example.  Instead of updates being in a new entry, I would just comment in the original with new info.  And then turn on the email new comments.
The second might be a little better organized, but the way I've been doing it keeps it simple and linear.
Oh well, maybe I'm just thinking about it too much.
